Owen Maddox Araujo

This morning, January 5, 2014 ... we added another nephew to our family, and Billy's younger sister and her husband, Gerson, added a second baby boy to their family.  Owen Maddox Araujo was born at 8:08 a.m. weighing in at a chunky 9 lbs. 13 oz. and measuring 21 inches in length.  Mommy and baby boy are doing great, as they get to know each other in the hospital.  Big brother, Ethan, has already been to the hospital to visit and to meet his little brother.  Proud Grandma and Grandpa Heinrich have, also, been able to hold and meet their newest grandchild ... number six!  I'm sure they will enjoy the couple of days they have in the hospital doting on one child at a time.  Then things will heat up with two in tow at home.  Luckily, Grandma and Grandpa Heinrich will be around for the next month to help out and keep little Ethan busy, and they will be able to assist with caring for Owen ... so mommy can get a little extra sleep during the day!

We are looking forward to meeting Owen and will probably make a trip up to Orlando this coming weekend to visit.  Colton and Khloe both enjoyed seeing Owen's pictures that Gerson posted (and I "borrowed" for this blog) on the internet.  We wish the Araujo family a lot of blessings this coming year as their many life changes have begun ... Baby #2 has arrived, soon Gerson will be finished with his medical residency, a summer trip to embark upon, some tests to be taken, and a move to a new city and a new job for Gerson this fall!  Congratulations to you guys!  We are looking forward to watching our new nephew grow!
