Ten and Eleven Months

I'm a little behind on Alice's updates. Since my last post about her ... she has turned 10 months and then 11 months! I can hardly believe that she is weeks away from being one! Say what!?!

Here are a few pics from the past two months ...
10 months old ... 20 lbs ... and so sweet!
During her 10th month, she got to be a super-fast crawler ... which surprises me, because for so long, she didn't seem to know what her legs were for! She likes to point at everything. She claps and says, "Yay!" She pulls up onto everything. And at Christmastime, we found out that she LOVES the ocean!
Her new thing in December was to pull up in her crib and gnaw on it ... you will see my fix for that in her 11 month pics!
That tongue! It's out all of the time.

Bites ... the filter on this pic made her eyes SUPER blue. Just lovely.

And somehow, she is in the midst of her 11th month ... she is sassafras!
11 months old ... 1.7.15
During her 11th month, she has become quite the cruiser and enjoys using her push toys, chairs, or anything else she can find that will move when she walks! She is exploring language ... it seems she says, "Done," when she is finished with something, and she will hand it to you ... or whomever will take it from her. She is into EVERYTHING! If she can touch it, she will grab it. She loves food ... and she seems ready to be a big kid like brother and sister. I'm excited to see how her personality will grow in the next year.

When you say, "Where's Alice?" This is what she does! She loves this game.
Making sounds by yelling and pounding her hand on her mouth ...

My Big 5 Year-Old

Well ... with the best intentions, I haven't posted since early November! Bleh!

Here is my baby boy's 5th birthday!

To my first born ... I can't believe you are five years old! When I first heard your little duck-quacking voice, I couldn't believe you were mine! Now, you have shown me how special you are, how smart you are, how caring you are ... and I feel extremely lucky to be your mom. God knew what He was doing when He gave you to me. I am thankful and blessed!
I love these three action shots!
What a handsome boy!
Great smile!

Of course, I couldn't pass up the chance to take pictures of all of my kids together. So, here's a few of all three of them.
These two look so much alike to me!
Best Friends!
Cuties!
My three baby hearts ... I love them so.
My girlies
Oh, Khloe ... your posed smile always looks so worried. Lol!

On Colton's actual birthday (which was on a Monday), we celebrated by taking cookies to his school and sharing them with his friends. He got to wear a crown all day at school, and he felt pretty special. I made him a pie on his big day ... he asked for a pumpkin pie with whipped cream! We went to Red Robin for dinner with our good friends, the Adams. It was a very special day, and I had mixed feelings about my little buddy turning FIVE.
Pumpkin pie ... for breakfast!?!

So, we decided to have Colton's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. He LOVED it! It was a perfect place for the kids his age. The games were mostly easy for them to play, and the party atmosphere was crazy and loud ... just right for preschoolers! Colton had a blast ... which was exactly what we were hoping for! Happy number 5, Mr. C!
I made this invitation for his birthday ... it was so fun to make!
Party time!
So sweet!
