My Big 5 Year-Old

Well ... with the best intentions, I haven't posted since early November! Bleh!

Here is my baby boy's 5th birthday!

To my first born ... I can't believe you are five years old! When I first heard your little duck-quacking voice, I couldn't believe you were mine! Now, you have shown me how special you are, how smart you are, how caring you are ... and I feel extremely lucky to be your mom. God knew what He was doing when He gave you to me. I am thankful and blessed!
I love these three action shots!
What a handsome boy!
Great smile!

Of course, I couldn't pass up the chance to take pictures of all of my kids together. So, here's a few of all three of them.
These two look so much alike to me!
Best Friends!
Cuties!
My three baby hearts ... I love them so.
My girlies
Oh, Khloe ... your posed smile always looks so worried. Lol!

On Colton's actual birthday (which was on a Monday), we celebrated by taking cookies to his school and sharing them with his friends. He got to wear a crown all day at school, and he felt pretty special. I made him a pie on his big day ... he asked for a pumpkin pie with whipped cream! We went to Red Robin for dinner with our good friends, the Adams. It was a very special day, and I had mixed feelings about my little buddy turning FIVE.
Pumpkin pie ... for breakfast!?!
Happy Birthday, Buddy!

So, we decided to have Colton's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. He LOVED it! It was a perfect place for the kids his age. The games were mostly easy for them to play, and the party atmosphere was crazy and loud ... just right for preschoolers! Colton had a blast ... which was exactly what we were hoping for! Happy number 5, Mr. C!
I made this invitation for his birthday ... it was so fun to make!
Party time!
So sweet!
