sweetfield's farms ... fall festival

I started my day out looking at this beautiful sunset in very cool humid-less weather.  It was in the 60s.  So nice!
In the middle of my 8-mile run.
This weekend, we went back to Sweetfield's Farms.  We went there last October to get pumpkins, see the animals, go on a hayride, etc.  It was so much fun that we planned to go again this year, but we decided it would be even more fun to invite our friends along, too!  The Adams and the Mewhirters (minus Michael, because he was out of town) came with us.  It was a lot of fun!

The kids really enjoyed the animals.  They saw pigs (even saw a pig race), goats, chickens, and a big cow (Rosie Moo Moo).  They got to climb on hay bales, go on a hayride, and go through a hay maze ... luckily, no one has allergies!  We had kettle corn, apple cider, and cold root beer.  We, also, got some BIG pumpkins!  Brian and Gwendy ended up with some HUGE pumpkins!  I am looking forward to carving ours ... and so is Colton.  He has been telling everyone that we are going to "cut a face in it and put a light inside"!

It was definitely more fun for Khloe this year ... as last year, she was only 3 weeks old when we went!  It was better for me, too.  She seemed to really enjoy the chickens.  She liked it when they crowed!

We had a long day, but it was fun!  We will definitely go again next year.

She loves them!

Just to see the difference, this is me with Koki last year with Rosie Moo Moo.  She is wrapped so small and tiny in the moby wrapped around me.  How much she has grown in one year!

The Heinrichs on the hayride.

Loved the hay!
So handsome!
Two cute, special boys.
Out to lunch afterwards ... Billy makes a good babysitter!
