I'm 33 weeks now--that means it's getting closer and closer to the end. I'll be 8 1/2 months next week, so I thought I should probably get those maternity pictures taken. Luckily, Sissy's Uncle Gerson just got a brand new Nikon D700, and he was willing to brave the extreme humidity and heat here in FL ... death by 9:30 am ... and take pictures for us. He's a medical resident not a photographer by trade, but I have to say, he did an amazing job! We are very pleased with his photos, and he has never taken pictures of a pregnant lady before--imagine that! He's more of a landscape/animals type of photographer, but I think he just widened his repertoire. I'm not going to caption each of these pictures, as there are A LOT that I like and will post ... over 100. So, I may throw in a comment here and there, but it's mostly just for you to peruse through. I can get you copies or prints or .jpegs of any of these photos, just let me know! And, THANK YOU, Gerson! We really appreciate you taking time out of your VERY SMALL free-time schedule to take pictures for us.
We had a fun day! We took these pictures most of the morning, and we took Gerson out to breakfast to thank him for his time and loan of the camera. This afternoon, Billy mowed the lawn, and we got stuff around the house taken care of ... then we went to a movie. We saw the last Harry Potter movie. It was nice to be in a theater. I know when Sissy Wally comes, it will be that much harder to get out like that ... especially with us moving to Tampa away from all of our family. We had a pretty good weekend, all-in-all. I think it kept our minds off of waiting and waiting to hear what our house has been appraised for. We should find out here in the next couple of days. Until then ... we just keep our minds busy!
